Future DJs Club

Developing the next generation of DJs

Future DJs Club is a 12-week continuation course for kids and juniors who want to keep progressing as DJs. Designed for motivated young students, this course builds on the fundamentals and helps them grow both technically and creatively behind the decks.

This is where curiosity turns into confidence.

Who Is Future DJs Club For?

Future DJs Club is for kids and juniors aged 8–14 who:

  • Have completed DJ Kids & Juniors Club, or
  • Already have basic DJ experience
  • Want to improve their skills and understanding of DJing
  • Enjoy music, learning, and creative expression

The course is suitable for both confident performers and quieter students who thrive in a focused, supportive environment.

What We Work On

In Future DJs Club, students begin working more independently and with greater musical awareness. The focus shifts from learning the basics to developing flow, taste, and confidence.

Key focus areas include:

  • Stronger beatmatching and cleaner transitions
  • Understanding track structure and energy
  • Creative mixing techniques and musical flow
  • Preparing and practicing short DJ sets
  • Confidence and performance awareness

Each session combines technique, creativity, and fun — because learning works best when students enjoy the process.

Course Format

Future DJs Club runs as a weekly continuation class, designed to create steady progression over time.

  • Day: Thursday
  • Time: 17:00 – 17:50
  • Duration: 12-week course
  • Schedule: Follows the school calendar
  • School Holidays: No classes during school holidays
  • Age Group: 8–14 years
  • Level: Continuation / Intermediate
  • Format: Small group learning with hands-on practice

Students work in a safe and inspiring learning environment.

DJ Equipment Requirement (Important)

DJ equipment is not included in the course.

Students are expected to:

  • Bring their own Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta DJ equipment, or
  • Rent a Pioneer DJ FLX-4 controller from DJ Academy

Controller rental:

  • DKK 200 per month

Having access to DJ equipment at home is essential for practice and progression.

Our Teaching Approach

At DJ Academy, we believe young DJs learn best when:

  • They feel comfortable and supported
  • Learning is structured but playful
  • Creativity is encouraged alongside technical skills

Future DJs Club is not about pressure or competition. It’s about developing skills, confidence, and a lasting love for music.

A Natural Next Step

Future DJs Club is the recommended next step after DJ Kids & Juniors Club, but is also open to students with equivalent experience.

Students completing this course often:

  • Feel more confident behind the decks
  • Develop stronger musical understanding
  • Are better prepared for advanced courses, workshops, and performances
