• Explore the anatomy of an industry standard Pioneer DJ setup.
• Learn the basics of BPM, beats, bars in music.
• Start creating transitions between tracks.
• Handout and quick overview of DDJ-FLX4 controller for home practice.
• Get acquainted with the rekordbox software for home practice.
• Find out where to source your music and about the importance of high quality files. 

Week 2: Beatmatching and Mixing Fundamentals

• Understand the significance of song structure and phrasing.
• Master the art of beatmatching using pitch control.
• Explore EQing techniques to adjust frequency balance for seamless transitions.
• Practice beatmatching techniques with different genres of music.
• Start creating smooth transitions between tracks.

Week 3: Introduction to Effects

• Discover the world of DJ effects and their creative potential.
• Learn how to use filters, delays, and reverbs to enhance your mixes.
