Welcome to the DJ Junior Club. For youngsters between the ages from 9 to 14.

Course Essentials: The Lowdown

  • Frequency: 12 x Thursdays 6PM-6.50PM
  • Duration: 50 minutes. 
  • Group Size: Limited to 4 students for optimal learning
  • Languages: English and Danish
  • Age Requirements: Designed for youngsters aged 9-14
  • DJ Controller: Bring your own Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta controller or rent a DDJ-FLX4 for DKK 200/month.

Our courses include tech guidance, assisting your child with setting up the essential software Rekordbox and get access to music. Some music services can have extra fees for subscription, but it is also possible to DJ with local music on the computer/tablet.


About the Class
Welcome to our Kids' DJ Class, where learning meets fun! For children aged 9-14, this ongoing course meets once a week for 50 minutes sessions. The classes offer a perfect blend of education and entertainment. Your child will learn the basics of DJing, including beatmatching, song selection, and equipment handling, all while having a blast!

We teach in Rekordbox software as this is the industry standard and if the kids wanna take it further it will be easier to move to professional gear. 
So might as well start there to make it easy in the future. 

Of course techniques and the basics will be the same, but it is just so much easier to export the music to pro gear if they already have built up their music collection in the same software.

A: No.

Q: Can my child practice at home?
A: Your child can practice at home during the duration of the course on a rented or own Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta DJ controller.

Q: Is any special equipment needed for the course?
A: A DJ controller is mandatory for home practice. You can rent a DDJ-FLX4 during the course for DKK 200 a month. (This one can not be bought out afterwords). Or you can bring your own Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta DJ controller.

Q: What languages are spoken in the Junior DJ Class?
A: The class is taught in both English and Danish, ensuring accessibility for a broader audience.
